#GreatRoomRestoration Project

Here it is...Our Nutley #GreatRoomRestoration project debut! This was another epic project completed with Critly Contracting and we all couldn't be happier with how it turned out.

I'm going to give a quick backstory! This specific room was originally an art studio back in1879 that later got incorporated into a home design. It was extremely important to myself and the Critly team to keep the existing design as original as possible. We love to restore older homes and enhance the original character (the older the better in our eyes).

We decided to keep a classic look and trim out each insert on the wall and ceiling. We painted all of the inserts White Dove by Benjamin Moore and the walls Edgecomb Gray by Benjamin Moore. We kept the wooden beams original and touched up where it was needed.

The Critly team also updated all of the electrical and added in over 15 high hats and a center chandelier. I was so adamant about adding in a focal point chandelier and I knew it needed a wagon wheel. I think it pulls the entire space together! This was such a beautiful project from start to finish. When working with incredible clients and a great team, the finished product is always so much sweeter!
