Today is all about styling the perfect entry table! An entry table is usually one of the first pieces you see when you walk into your home and it should make a statement! Console tables are one of my favorite pieces to style. There's certainly a method to the madness when completing a look for your table & I'm here to offer you the easiest guide! Check out the links at the end to purchase all of the pieces featured in each design.
Of course the first thing you must start with is a table! Always remember to measure your wall to ensure the proper length. Many console tables can be very deceiving online so you want to make sure the dimensions compliment your wall space.
Next, you’ll need a mirror to anchor the table! If you’re not a fan of mirrors you can always use a large piece of art work! Remember - you want the mirror to fit inside the length of the table; anything larger will off balance the table!
*Note: Always hang your mirror or art about 4-6" above the table for proper scale*
I love including larger, statement lamps to place beside the mirror - you can stick with a neutral tone or this is a great place to add a pop of color!
Decor is next when completing an entry table look! The general pieces I gravitate towards include stacked books, large vases with faux branches/florals, antique or family heirlooms you may want displayed, & any decor pieces that have existing texture or color!
The last piece to the puzzle includes baskets or ottomans to store underneath the table! This is not only a layering technique, but it’s also very functional for family homes! Sometimes it’s best to store everyday shoes or even rolled up blankets in ottomans that offer storage! Other times a cute bench is all you need which is also super functional when you want a place to sit and throw on your shoes before you leave!
Here are two designs I created and I am linking every piece for you to purchase!
