Today I'm sharing a recipe that my family and I have been making every Fall season - Gagootz! Gagootz is a really large, light green squash. The gagootz we had this year was almost 4 ft long that a family friend gifted to us! That's when you know you're Italian...you get a gagootz dropped off at your door step and think it's gold!
I have an IGTV up showing my Mema and I go through the whole process, but I wanted to share the full recipe here. It's super simple - the hardest part is peeling and cutting the gagootz since it's so large! You can also use regular green zucchini (we had to add zucchini to our soup because we had an issue lol!
